Franco Colapinto did not hide his discomfort after finishing 17th in the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The Argentine driver arrived at the mixed zone visibly upset after another day in which his car lacked pace and prevented him from competing on equal terms.
Before analyzing his performance, Colapinto voiced an unexpected complaint about the pre-race show: "They think it's Christmas, man. There are dogs... It's ten at night. The money they spend on that nonsense," he said to ESPN, annoyed by the fireworks that accompanied the end of the race.
In a calmer atmosphere, the Argentine elaborated on his assessment: "A frustrating race. I was very slow the entire race. I had zero grip. It was impossible to turn, the steering wheel was moving the whole rear section," he explained, detailing the erratic behavior of the A525.
