Minister Sergio Busso carried out the delivery of benefits derived from the Industrial Promotion regime to various firms from Río Cuarto and Juárez Celman. This administrative action is part of regulations aimed at encouraging the private sector to incorporate technology and modernize its structures. The technical intention of these certificates is to make it easier for regional industries to improve their level of competitiveness in the current markets.
Through this support, the manufacturing plants manage to optimize their operational processes by adding value to their original supply chains. The strengthening of the productive network in the southern part of the province is vital to maintain economic dynamism in the communities of the area.
Law No. 10.792, passed by the Legislature in December 2021, is the legal instrument that makes it possible to grant these advantages to companies. The objective of this legal framework is to consolidate an ecosystem where companies can project themselves nationally and internationally with greater solvency. The company ARBRO SA completed an expansion of its industrial plant through the purchase of a welding robot and a high-precision laser cutter. This investment in capital goods allows the company to improve its competitiveness and move forward in terms of technological innovation within the sector. Meanwhile, the company GELI-AR SA built a modern cold storage warehouse designed for the large-scale stockpiling of super-frozen foods.
In the town of Carnerillo, the company ARG DE GRAAF SA (Maniagro) started up an electric power plant based on industrial biomass. The project uses peanut shells as the main input, which makes it possible to reduce energy costs by fully utilizing its own waste. In addition, the company incorporated new product lines after acquiring specific machinery that allows it to diversify its commercial offering in the market.

The investments made by private companies not only modernize their capacities, but also ensure more efficient logistics for the food chain. The current regime includes full exemptions from key provincial taxes such as Gross Income, Property Tax, and Stamp Tax for companies. These reductions in tax pressure allow industries to have a greater cash flow to reinvest in their own production schemes. The aim is for the tax burden not to suffocate ventures that decide to expand and generate wealth within the province of Córdoba.
Additionally, the state grants an economic subsidy for each new worker who is formally added to the payroll of the beneficiary companies. An incentive is also in force for the increase in electricity consumption for those plants that increase their manufacturing work rate.
