Congress: the anti-protest protocol prevented traffic blockades during the march
Congress remained protected and free from attacks thanks to the strategic presence of the Federal Police
The security operation led by Minister Patricia Bullrich once again showed positive results: the recent march toward the National Congress took place without incidents or attacks on public buildings, particularly the Legislative Palace, a target that in previous demonstrations was the object of attacks by ultra-Kirchnerist and leftist groups.
This was only possible thanks to the anti-picketing protocol, an instrument that the minister established since her entry into Milei's administration in charge of the Security Ministry.
Firm prevention without excesses
Thanks to the implementation of the anti-picketing protocol by the Security Ministry, federal forces deployed a preventive operation that managed to deter possible acts of violence without restricting the right to protest. Throughout the operation, it was ensured that the protest remained within a controlled perimeter, which prevented overflows and preserved the integrity of democratic institutions as well as allowed the free circulation of vehicles in the area.
On other occasions, this type of mobilization resulted in attacks with stones, Molotov cocktails, fireworks aimed at Congress and damage to public property, as well as clashes with the police. This time, the situation was radically different.
A Congress without attacks or vandalism
The Congress building remained protected and free from attacks thanks to the strategic presence of Federal Police officers and other national forces. No damage was recorded in the surrounding areas nor violent interventions by radicalized groups, which on previous occasions acted with impunity.
A policy of order that shows results
The strategy led by Bullrich has marked a turning point in the way protests are managed in public spaces. After years of chaos, blockades, and attacks on institutions, the current approach of the Security Ministry seeks to set clear boundaries, defend public order, and protect both peaceful protesters and the general public.
The national government reaffirmed that this model will remain in force, with the aim of ensuring that no demonstration ever again becomes an excuse to attack Congress or the property of all Argentinians.
