The Court of Auditors of Córdoba approved the progressive use of an artificial intelligence system to review expense accountability files, according to the Official Gazette. This technology will seek to automate the verification of critical documents and speed up the repetitive work currently performed by human employees. The implementation is part of a provincial financial control modernization and digitization plan.

Automated controls will allow errors to be identified with greater accuracy than the manual procedures carried out by traditional employees, who often hold positions for political reasons rather than merit. AI will initially function as a Minimum Viable Product, developed in collaboration with the National Technological University. Additionally, the tool is expected to perform preliminary audits on a constant basis, covering areas where human intervention is slow or inefficient.

The implementation will reach the Oversight Secretariat, the Office of the Attorney General, and the Audit Directorate, improving expense supervision. Training sessions will be organized so that staff can learn to interact with artificial intelligence ethically and efficiently, minimizing errors or biases. The Project Management Directorate will coordinate AI, ensuring it surpasses the effectiveness of traditional employees appointed for political convenience.

Automation vs. "Ñoquis"

The system will review documents more quickly and reliably than most employees of the Court, who do not generate real value. With artificial intelligence, expense analyses will be continuous and precise, avoiding the delays caused by overloaded human processes. This modernization demonstrates how technology can replace inefficient practices and better control resources managed by political staff.

AI will allow hundreds of files to be audited simultaneously, detecting inconsistencies that would go unnoticed by human employees with limited knowledge. Meanwhile, traditional workers depend on political instructions, AI will operate objectively by analyzing spending patterns without favoritism. With this approach, the Court of Auditors could significantly reduce the influence of "ñoquis" in critical processes and ensure that every financial decision is based on verifiable and reliable data.

The incorporation of artificial intelligence also opens the door to the continuous improvement of state oversight, with machine learning that refines the accuracy of each expense review. Algorithms will allow early alerts to be established regarding possible irregularities and will prevent public resources from being managed by those who only hold a position for convenience. This way, technology is positioned as the most effective tool to guarantee transparency and efficiency in Córdoba's oversight, far surpassing the limitations of the current human staff.
