Ridiculous: Córdoba capital collapses, but Passerini organizes pointless green summits
In his unusual address, the Kirchnerist mayor targeted the national government while ignoring the neglect of his own administration
While Córdoba's residents suffer from destroyed streets, rampant insecurity, and accumulated garbage, Mayor Passerini led a climate summit devoid of real substance. This took place during the 1st International Climate Conference and the 5th World Circular Economy Summit, funded with public money. The event failed to provide concrete solutions for the city that is collapsing.
The improvised mayor chose to attack the national government but avoided giving answers about his own negligent municipal administration. "Unilateral decisions leave Argentines outside Argentina," he stated, endorsing European sanctions. However, he did not mention the urban disaster the capital is experiencing.
The Kirchnerist Passerini, disconnected and self-absorbed, insisted that Argentina was downgraded for not meeting climate goals. Meanwhile, he did not give a single explanation about the disastrous state of Córdoba's capital. Public transportation is precarious, garbage collection is deficient, and urban infrastructure is completely neglected.

Destroyed city, inverted priorities
During his speech devoid of self-criticism, he asked that municipalities gain access to international financing for "environmental" projects. He completely ignored the fact that residents suffer from a lack of sewage systems, nonexistent public lighting, impassable streets, and a rising insecurity rate. The contrast between his empty speeches and Córdoba's brutal reality is insulting.
Micro-dumps proliferate in the city, vacant lots are left unchecked, streets are massively broken, and public spaces are in ruins due to municipal neglect. Meanwhile, Passerini, with Kirchnerism in his blood, allocates resources to organizing ideological events with no impact for citizens. No concrete plan to solve everyday problems was presented.
The event brought together more than 100 mayors, with the support of Governor Llaryora. However, neither he nor Passerini offered real solutions for the crisis in security, health, transportation, and basic services. The municipal administration continues to prioritize empty speeches over effective action.

Silence in the face of crisis and praise for foreign organizations
Passerini celebrated that international organizations finance municipalities without going through the Nation, while Córdoba's capital is left to its fate. He stated that "caring for the environment is no longer a challenge, it's a public policy," but in practice the city doesn't even implement a decent waste collection system.
The mayor, disconnected from everyday reality, also praised the Regional Commitment signed with other provinces. He did so while entire neighborhoods suffer from a lack of drinking water, overcrowded health centers, and streets without maintenance. His speech is full of empty promises and neglect.
During his address, he avoided referring to the crises facing Córdoba's residents, such as traffic chaos or growing insecurity. He preferred to take the international stage to run a political campaign, leaving aside the real urgencies of his administration.
