Security and organization at mass events
The operation deployed more than one hundred provincial officers coordinated with municipalities to secure concerts and public spaces over the weekend. Preventive measures included controls at concerts and parks across the province from Thursday the 18th through Sunday the 21st. Collaboration among the provincial police, traffic and inspection departments, and national forces was key to ensuring smooth proceedings.
In Córdoba Capital, controls were reinforced at concerts with more than 45,000 attendees, along with a special deployment at Parque de las Tejas. Around 38,000 people gathered there for a musical event that lasted all day and mainly attracted young people. In the interior, preventive actions covered destinations such as Villa Carlos Paz, Embalse, and Potrero de Garay, with increased traffic and patrol presence.
The tourism activity activated a value chain that includes lodging, gastronomy, transportation, and retail, with a direct impact on small and medium-sized enterprises. The success of the weekend confirms the province's capacity to organize mass events that attract domestic tourism and sustain local employment. The figures and the variety of offerings reinforce Córdoba as the preferred destination for Argentinians and demonstrate its potential for future seasons.
