Córdoba drives LEGALIA, the first AI applied to the legal field
The Bar Association presented an unprecedented tool created in the province to modernize professional practice
The Córdoba Bar Association presented LEGALIA, an AI developed in Córdoba to assist with everyday legal tasks for local attorneys. The presentation took place on August 28 during the Bar Association's Centennial event and was highlighted as a step toward modernization. The leadership stated that LEGALIA will streamline case law searches, offer document templates, and improve secure document management.
Santex led the development with contributions from the Judiciary and the Bar Association in a project designed to address real needs in professional practice. LEGALIA will operate in a private cloud and access verified judicial sources, incorporating controls to safeguard data confidentiality. It will offer judgment prediction, dynamic document templates, and a conversational assistant that facilitates inquiries and streamlines routine tasks.
The event emphasized the commitment to democratize access to digital tools that accelerate procedures, searches, and case management for attorneys. "An innovation that will facilitate, streamline, and democratize our profession," said Eduardo Bittar, president of the Córdoba Bar Association. The tool is currently in beta phase, and the Bar Association announced that it will be operational next year for the legal profession.

Essential features and security for legal practice
LEGALIA conducts case law searches, generates dynamic document templates, suggests procedural steps, and manages documentation in a private cloud. It includes tools for judicial assistants and operators, with secure registration, traceability, and version control for each managed case file. It also incorporates a conversational assistant that answers common questions, streamlines drafting, and reduces administrative time in law offices and courts.
The project prioritizes data protection and confidentiality, operates in a private cloud, and applies protocols to prevent information loss. The specifications provide for technical support, maintenance, and training, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational continuity of the system. The Bar Association aims for LEGALIA to be a tool that enhances local legal work and serves as an exportable platform to other jurisdictions.
Ricardo Lorenzetti welcomed the initiative and described it as an institutional step that uses technology to improve efficiency and transparency. LEGALIA's team highlighted its potential to develop local talent and create job opportunities for young people involved in legal technology. In the beta phase, there will be testing with real users, and greater speed in processes and better access to justice are expected.
