
Córdoba: Gendarmerie caught them with one and a half kilograms (3.3 pounds) of cocaine near Villa María
In addition to detaining three individuals, authorities seized ammunition and money during the operation
A group of gendarmes inspected a vehicle on August 14 that was headed to the town of Marcos Juárez, in the southeast of Córdoba, and in which they found more than one kilogram (2.2 pounds) of cocaine.
The operations, carried out as part of a Public Prevention Operation, took place on National Route No. 9 at kilometer 525 (in the Ballesteros area).
In the vehicle, which was traveling from Villa María, there were three people who were arrested.

Gendarmerie seizes ammunition and money in the southeast of Córdoba
During the search, the officers detected two compact packages containing a whitish substance, three shotgun cartridges, cell phones, and more than 380,000 pesos.
Field orientation tests were conducted and the result was cocaine (a total of 1 kilogram 31 grams[2.27 pounds]).
The Federal Prosecutor's Office and the Federal Court of the city of Bell Ville intervened.
The detainees were transferred to Penitentiary Establishment No. 5 in the city of Villa María.
