The Córdoba Grain Exchange estimated that for the 2025-26 season in Córdoba, wheat would reach an average yield of 35 qq/ha and 5.7 million tons, the highest production in history.
Meanwhile, for chickpeas, a yield of 25 qq/ha is expected, the highest yield ever obtained in Córdoba, and 49 thousand tons of production.

Abundant and widespread rainfall throughout the province was key to maintaining soil moisture and improving the overall condition of the fields.

Wheat in Marcos Juárez and Unión
For wheat, in most departments, rainfed yields are projected to be higher than last season, with Marcos Juárez standing out at 49.7 qq/ha and Unión at 47.5 qq/ha.
