Córdoba: Neighbor reports squatters and the municipality doesn'thing
It happens in the Argüello neighborhood, where insecurity is also increasing
The inaction of the authorities has turned the Argüello neighborhood of Córdoba into an area of high danger.
Where Dispensary No. 33 used to operate has become a hideout for criminals, after being taken over by men and women.
A local resident, who did not want to give her name for safety reasons, described what is happening to La Derecha Diario Córdoba.

"Here in the neighborhood we have a problem with insecurity. There are a lot of homeless men and women who have taken over several places in the neighborhood, such as the former Dispensary No. 33, and a half-demolished property on César Milone and Donato Alvarez streets," she explained.
It is just meters from Argüello Juniors Club, a traditional boxing club in the area, where children, teenagers, and adults go to participate in various activities.
Criminals on the loose in Córdoba
"They have built a kind of hut and these people also live there," she indicated.
According to the resident's account, there have already been complaints and requests to relocate these people, but there have been no responses from either the municipal authorities or the police.

"These people rob passersby and hide in the house. No one dares to go in there! They are always drunk or on drugs," she said.
The area, which until a few years ago was more or less quiet, has become very unsafe. "You can't go out at any time without fear of being robbed."
"We have already had meetings with the police and they did nothing. We keep getting worse every day. You walk down the street and at every traffic light or corner you find these windshield cleaners," she added.
"Yesterday Córdoba Municipality came to the former dispensary to visit these people who have settled there, but they don't remove them or do anything," she concluded resignedly.
