The water park Infinito Water Park inaugurated its facilities this Thursday, January 15, on Circunvalación Avenue in the city. This private development required an investment of 40 million dollars to transform a 13-hectare property into a tourist hub. The complex has an operational capacity to receive 7,000 people simultaneously, offering more than 50 world-class attractions.

The start-up of the venture caused the immediate creation of 500 direct jobs and another 1,300 indirect jobs. The developers plan to receive 450,000 visitors during the summer season, consolidating the province as an international destination. The private sector is strongly committed to the growth of local tourism with quality offerings that compete with the best parks in the region.

The current park is part of the Infinito Open master plan Infinito Open that foresees a future expansion to reach 36 hectares of total area. The private initiative plans the construction of a stadium for shows and a hotel that will enhance the range of services in the area. These complementary works will consolidate an entertainment district that will boost the economy of the eastern sector of the provincial capital.
