The Bolsa de Comercio de Córdoba has launched a new edition of the traditional competition that rewards young people who generate valuable transformations in society. This is the 38th call for the contest that recognizes individuals between 18 and 35 years old with outstanding careers in various fields. This year, the initiative is framed within the 125th anniversary of the institution, which gives special significance to the distinction.

The competition includes categories ranging from academic life to sports, art, politics, science, and social commitment. It also includes recognition for those who, from outside the country, enhance the name of Córdoba and keep the connection with the province alive. The call seeks to identify examples of effort and talent that inspire the entire community.

More than just an award, the initiative serves as a space that celebrates the merit, constant work, and innovation of Córdoba's youth. The goal is to show that dedication and creativity can become drivers of collective change. In this sense, the contest conveys a message about the value of commitment as a path toward a better society.

A contest that inspires new generations

Since 1988, more than 370 young people have been recognized, including high-performance athletes, scientists, artists, entrepreneurs, and social leaders. Manuel Tagle, president of the Bolsa, stated that every year stories emerge that show young people's ability to transform their environment. According to him, this is a recognition that reaffirms Córdoba's potential to project itself with creativity and effort.

The institution's general manager, Josefina Sándoz Bielsa, emphasized that the contest is a space of inspiration that brings together the entire community. She recalled that in the last edition, they received more than 320 applications, which reflects the diversity of profiles among Córdoba's youth. In her view, the initiative consolidates a space of motivation and visibility for new generations seeking to forge their own path.

Registrations will remain open until October 10, 2025, and candidates may apply in all the categories included. The selection of the honorees will be carried out by an interdisciplinary jury made up of representatives from different sectors. The final ceremony will take place in November 2025, during the classic annual event organized by Bolsa de Comercio de Córdoba.
