A police operation in the Marqués Anexo neighborhood, in the northern area of the city of Córdoba, made it possible to rescue a 22-year-old woman. The victim reported having been held captive in a house, which caused shock among the neighbors. Two people were arrested following the procedure.
The action was carried out in a house on block 41, by order of prosecutor Andrés Rubén Godoy. Officers from the Investigations Brigade, CAP, Infantry, SEOM, Judicial Police, and Canine Division were involved. The coordination of different forces ensured the success of the operation.
Hours after the raid, in the early hours of Monday, the young woman was found and assisted. She showed injuries and signs of having been tied up. She was placed under protection and made available to the justice system to move forward with the corresponding investigation.

An arsenal in the house
During the procedure, the police seized an arsenal of weapons and ammunition. Among the items found were a 9 mm caliber pistol, two .22 caliber revolvers, and a 16-gauge shotgun. There was also a ballistic vest belonging to Córdoba police.
Two homemade "tumbera"-type weapons, magazines, cartridges of different calibers, and spent shells were also added. In addition, two cell phones were seized and will be added to the judicial investigation. All the material was placed under the custody of the authorities.
