The Municipality of Córdoba has confirmed that next Sunday, October 26, urban buses can be used free of charge by users. The measure aims to facilitate voters' mobility on election day, when legislative representatives will be elected. The benefit will cover all urban lines, except for the Aerobus service that connects to the airport.
The special scheme will be in effect from 6 to 20 hours (6 a.m. to 8 p.m.), during which time transportation to the various polling stations will be available. The buses will operate with frequencies similar to those of a regular Sunday, although they may be reinforced during periods of higher demand. No card or additional documentation will be required to access transportation.
The provision is part of the measures adopted by municipalities across the country to guarantee the right to vote and reduce logistical obstacles. In Córdoba, the urban system transports thousands of people on election day, which is why the Mobility Secretariat coordinated the operation with the service providers.

Opening of civil registries and provincial services
At the request of the Ministry of Justice and Labor of the Province, the municipality will also open the central Civil Registry and the 17 CPCs. Service will be provided on Saturday, October 25, and Sunday, October 26, from 8 to 18 hours (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.), exclusively for the collection of National Identity Documents. This measure aims to ensure that those who have processed their DNI can exercise their right to vote without inconvenience.
People can check the availability of their document by scanning the QR code printed on the transaction receipt. In addition, telephone number 351-8695345 has been enabled for inquiries about the status of the DNI. The municipality recommended that residents check the information in advance to avoid delays on election day.
Meanwhile, the provincial government has arranged coordination with intercity and long-distance transportation services. Companies must maintain sufficient frequencies to ensure connectivity between towns in the interior and the capital. This way, the aim is to guarantee that all citizens of Córdoba can travel to the polling places designated by the Electoral Justice.
