La Derecha Diario Córdoba-based companies participate in AgTech mission in the United States
The delegation is visiting innovation centers in Indianapolis, Lafayette, and Urbana to strengthen technological ties
A delegation of companies and startups from Córdoba's AgTech sector is participating in the AgTech USA 2025 Mission. The event is taking place from June 2 to 6 in cities across the American Midwest.
The initiative is organized by the Córdoba Innovar y Emprender Agency, with support from the ProCórdoba Agency and the Córdoba AgTech Cluster. The Córdoba Innovar y Emprender Agency is a mixed-economy corporation that was established in 2017 in the Province of Córdoba.
Its purpose is to promote projects, programs, and financing lines that strengthen innovation and territorial development. It also seeks to add value to the production of companies, ventures, and actors within the provincial productive system. Its mission is for innovation and entrepreneurship to serve as drivers of socio-productive development throughout the territory.
Participation in the Global Entrepreneurship Congress
The delegation is also participating in the Global Entrepreneurship Congress, held in Indianapolis. More than 1,500 representatives from governments, universities, investment funds, and science-based companies gather here to share experiences on innovation and entrepreneurship.
The AgTech USA 2025 Mission continues its journey with more technical visits, institutional meetings, and spaces for dialogue. Among its objectives is to strengthen technological ties and explore innovation opportunities in the agro-industrial sector.
Visits to innovation centers and universities
During the mission, the Córdoba delegation is visiting innovation centers in Indianapolis, Lafayette, and Urbana. Activities include meetings with leaders from the private and institutional sectors, and visits to manufacturers of agricultural machinery and digital solutions. In addition, there will also be meetings with leading universities in the agro-industrial field.
Among the institutions visited is Purdue University in Lafayette, recognized for its programs in agronomy and biological sciences. Meanwhile, a visit to the University of Illinois is planned, where research units and technology startups linked to agriculture operate.
