The director of the developer from Córdoba Grupo Proaco, Lucas Salim, was very optimistic about the future of the economy.
The businessman participated in a meeting with banks and some of the main ALyC, where economist Martín Redrado was present.
"For years we've financed ourselves with buyers and investors. Now banks will have money that can no longer go to the State, and they'll channel it into the productive sector. Our sector is the one that can absorb the most capital," he stated.

2026 will be the year when Argentines will have to ask themselves again "what is my installment capacity" and not just "what is my housing solution," he indicated.
"In the world, developmentalism works like this: banks finance developers, and people access their homes in the long term. In Argentina, we pay for apartments in cash. It's madness," he illustrated.
For Salim, those who buy in the coming months may end up accessing their homes at historically low values, and in a context where labor (as it recovers) will once again drive up costs in the medium term.
Grupo Proaco's plans
Specifically, Salim said that from Grupo Proaco "we're managing the structuring of financing for the last stage of the Pocito shopping center with the goal of opening the shopping center in March 2027, which would generate 700 new jobs."

Salim: Once again, Córdoba set the course
"Once again, Córdoba set the course. The ballot boxes reflected a society that votes independently, without constraints, and that once again positions the province as the beacon of a clean vote, not influenced by political clientelism," Salim said in reference to the October 26 elections and the resounding victory of La Libertad Avanza.
"The clear victory of La Libertad Avanza in Córdoba expresses a concrete demand: less inefficient State, more freedom, and respect for individual effort," he added.
