CPAC Hungary: warnings about the Islamization of Europe and calls to defend the West
Conservatives around the world warned about immigration, Islamism, and the loss of national identity
The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) 2025 held in Hungary concluded its second day with strong speeches against the Islamization of Europe and in defense of Judeo-Christian values, state sovereignty, and the family as the core of society.
The event brought together internationally influential political leaders such as Alice Weidel (AfD, Germany), Geert Wilders (Netherlands), and key spokespersons from the Hungarian government of Viktor Orbán.
Alice Weidel denounced political manipulation in Germany

The day began with remarks from Alice Weidel, leader of Alternative for Germany (AfD), who denounced that "the establishment manipulates the Constitution to prevent a change of power."
She stated that excluding her party would mean "depriving more than 10 million Germans of their right to vote." Her accusation was directed squarely at the governing coalition made up of Social Democrats and Christian Democrats.
Hungary as a conservative stronghold

During the conference, several speakers agreed in highlighting Hungary's role as a reference for conservative values in Europe. Hungarian Minister of Foreign Trade, Szijjártó Péter, stated that "2025 is a pivotal year. We have defended ourselves, now it's time to attack", referring to Hungary's resistance to external pressures related to the war in Ukraine.
Péter also referred to illegal immigration as a direct threat: "That's why we built a fence and detain all illegal immigrants. We pay one million euros a day for this decision, but it's an investment in security and well-being for our children." The official denounced the imposition of European policies and openly opposed Ukraine's entry into the European Union.
"Only faith and family can resist"
From the United States, jurist John C. Eastman warned about a globalist system that seeks to "criminalize opponents and erase Western culture." According to Eastman, "nihilism is more dangerous than any military threat" and he proposed faith and family as the antidote.

In the same vein, Italian MEP Isabella Tavaglieri attacked mass immigration and what she described as cultural Islamization: "They ask us to be ashamed of our religion, while erasing traditions such as Christmas or Easter." She proposed "controlling mosques and deporting those who do not integrate or respect the law."
Geert Wilders: "With Islam there will only be hell and tyranny"
The event concluded with Geert Wilders, leader of the Party for Freedom in the Netherlands, who was applauded by the audience. Wilders denounced that Europe is being "invaded by fake refugees who in many cases are fugitives or criminals." He called for the total closure of borders, the immediate deportation of foreign criminals, and military surveillance of the borders.
"I don't want Islam to grow in Europe, because Islam and freedom are not compatible," he stated emphatically. He warned that, if action is not taken in time, "our future will be Islamic and the repercussions will be unimaginable." Finally, he concluded: "Without our Judeo-Christian civilization, there would be no democracy or equality before the law. With Islam there will only be hell and tyranny."
