The renowned commentator Daniel Mollo, a leading figure in the partisan broadcast Boca de Selección, spoke candidly about the difficult moment the club is going through.
In a conversation with Dupla Técnica, in addition to questioning the team's current football performance under the management of Miguel Ángel Russo, he targeted the forwards, shared his opinion on Juan Román Riquelme's management, and even expressed his desire to participate in the institution's politics.
His intention to be part of Boca's politics
Mollo confirmed that he is currently focused on local politics (he is a candidate in San Martín for Libertad Avanza), but he did not rule out joining the club: "I would love to be Boca's president, but I have other things right now and I don't want to let the people of San Martín down. I would like to work in the upcoming elections and have a role in Boca".

The commentator also referred to Riquelme and made a statement that sparked discussion: "Riquelme's idol status is not at risk. Riquelme is like Cristina. There are four or five players who will never lose it. First, because Boca will never be relegated; at most, this will happen, that Boca won't win anything, and that's enough for him".
He added emphatically: "If there were elections tomorrow at Boca, Riquelme would win. People love him and that must be acknowledged. Román needs to let himself be helped. He was the second-best player in Boca's history on the field. As an executive, he is not".
