The video game Denshattack! arrives in 2026 featuring acrobatic trains.
An independent video game that combines extreme driving and urban stunts will arrive on consoles and PC in 2026
The Spanish studio Undercoders, together with publisher Fireshine Games, presented its new title at Gamescom 2025: Denshattack!
The game offers a unique experience where trains become skateboards and perform impossible tricks in a futuristic, dystopian Japan.
Explosive gameplay and over 50 levels

Denshattack! combines the precision of skateboarding video games with the speed and power of railway driving. With over 50 levels, players must execute jumps, drifts, and spectacular maneuvers while traversing chaotic environments, overcoming chasms, and facing large-scale bosses.
The progression system will allow players to unlock new routes, environments, and abilities as they perfect their driving style, offering a strong replayability component.
A story shaped by climate collapse
The plot is set in a dystopian Japan where the wealthy live protected under domes of clean air and travel through the Miraido megacorporation's VACTRAIN hypersonic system.
Outside those cities, the ruins become disputed territories. In this context, the rebel movement Denshattack emerges, repurposing old railway tracks as extreme competition courses.
Creative team and a top-tier soundtrack

The project is directed by David Jaumandreu, renowned for his work on Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound. The music features Tee Lopes, composer of Sonic Mania, Sonic Frontiers, and TMNT: Shredder's Revenge.
In the coming months, additional collaborations will be announced alongside the Kid Katana label, responsible for iconic soundtracks such as Streets of Rage 4 and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.
Cultural inspiration and confirmed release
According to Jaumandreu, the game is inspired by Japanese art, culture, and music, as well as a passion for trains and skateboarding. Denshattack! will arrive in early 2026 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, with availability on Game Pass from day one.
Players can already add the title to their wishlist on Steam, anticipating one of the most original independent projects of the next generation.
