Amid growing regional tensions with Iran and in the midst of an international information war, La Derecha Diario announced the opening of a branch in Israel. The project aims to provide alternative coverage to that of traditional media, with a perspective aligned with the values of freedom, the defense of the West, and Israel's right to exist and defend itself.

The initiative was directly led by Javier Negre, journalist and owner of the portal, who is currently in that country experiencing firsthand the treatment by international media. During his visit, Negre held meetings with representatives of the Israeli government, members of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), and representatives of the international community who are closely following the conflict with Iran.

A commitment to countercultural journalism

The expansion of La Derecha Diario into Israel is no coincidence. It takes place in a context where the dominant narrative in the international press tends to demonize Israel's defensive stance against terrorist attacks and nuclear threats from Tehran. The outlet states that its goal is to break with ideological bias and defend Israel's values.

Among the first reports from the new team in Israeli territory, coverage is planned on the situation at the northern border with Lebanon, the threat posed by Hamas, and the strategic relationship between Jerusalem and Western countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and, more recently, Javier Milei's Argentina.

Alignment with Milei's international agenda

The announcement of La Derecha Diario's arrival in Israel also coincides with the growing alignment of Argentine President Javier Milei with the Hebrew State. Since taking office, Milei has reiterated his unconditional support for Israel, even moving the Argentine embassy to Jerusalem and marking a break with the diplomatic lukewarmness of previous governments.

In this regard, the presence of the outlet in the region strengthens an emerging media ecosystem that seeks to establish itself as a counterweight to the globalist narrative.

Why Israel?

The choice of Israel responds both to an affirmation of values and to a political and cultural communication strategy. For La Derecha Diario, Israel represents the fight for freedom, liberal democracy, and national sovereignty in an adverse geopolitical environment.
