Tres de Febrero, governed by La Libertad Avanza, has once again positioned itself among the Buenos Aires municipalities with the best management results
For the second consecutive year, the district achieved second place in the Strategic Management Index of Cities (IGEC) 2026, developed by the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), which analyzes the performance of 31 municipalities based on 159 indicators
The municipality, currently led by Mayor Rodrigo Aybar, obtained an overall score of 3.55 points out of a maximum of 5. This result represents an improvement compared to the previous measurement, when it recorded 3.34 points, indicating a growth of 0.21 points in its overall evaluation

One of the most notable aspects of the report was Tres de Febrero's performance in Environmental and Economic Development, two categories in which it achieved first place. In the environmental section, it scored 3.45 points, while in Economic Development it obtained 3.72, sharing the top position with Vicente López
The district also achieved outstanding results in other dimensions evaluated by the research. It ranked second in Political-Institutional, with 3.52 points, and in Society, with 3.46. In Technology and Infrastructure, it reached fourth place, with a score of 3.62
After the results were announced, Aybar highlighted the academic recognition and linked the position obtained with the public policies implemented in the district
“It is a great pride to be at the top of the ranking in this prestigious study from the University of Buenos Aires, where we demonstrate that our public policies and management quality work,” said the mayor
