The National Commission for Work in Private Homes has confirmed a new wage review that modifies the minimum base salaries for domestic staff for November and December 2025. The adjustment includes cumulative increases and an extraordinary non-remunerative bonus that must be paid by the employer.
The wage update is calculated based on the September base values and incorporates two increases: 1.4% in November and 1.3% in December, in addition to a one-time fixed amount.

New bonus for domestic workers: amounts and scope
The extraordinary allocation is non-remunerative and is paid only once. The amount varies according to the weekly working hours:
0 to 12 hours per week: $6,000
12 to 16 hours per week: $9,000
More than 16 hours per week: $14,000
Live-in staff: $14,000
This extra is added to the increases scheduled for the last two months of the year.
November 2025 salaries: 1.4% increase
