This Tuesday, a high-level meeting took place at the White House, where Donald Trump led the presentation of the task force that will be in charge of coordinating the preparations for the organization of the next Club World Cup.

Accompanying the former U.S. president was Gianni Infantino, current president of FIFA, who expressed his gratitude for the "constant support and commitment" from Trump's administration for the two major upcoming soccer events in the United States: the Club World Cup in 2025 and the FIFA World Cup in 2026.
During the meeting, the appointment of Andrew Giuliani as the executive director of the newly formed task force was officially confirmed. Meanwhile, Carlos Cordeiro, who currently serves as senior advisor to the FIFA president, was also appointed as a senior advisor within the team that will coordinate the event.
