The panelist recounted the desperate moment that she went through while she was breastfeeding her newborn baby

A few days after she became a mother, Sol Pérez went through a life-or-death situation that marked her forever. The panelist recounted on the show Sería Increíble, on the Olga channel, the dramatic episode she experienced when her son Marco, just four days old, choked while he was breastfeeding.
With her emotions still running high, the influencer recalled that the beginning of breastfeeding was an intense learning process. She explained that she needed professional support to achieve a good latch and prevent the baby from taking in air. "Breastfeeding is a universe", she stated, while she emphasized the importance of assistance from a lactation consultant during the first days in the clinic.
However, the most distressing moment occurred when she was already at home. According to what she said, Marco spent close to 50 minutes feeding. After she changed his diaper, he latched onto the breast again and fell asleep while he was sucking. It was then that everything changed.

The panelist recounted that, apparently, a small amount of milk remained accumulated and the baby, still asleep, made a sudden movement that left him unable to swallow or expel the liquid. "He was like blocked", she recalled. In a matter of seconds, the calm turned into desperation.
Pérez described how she immediately turned him over and tried to stimulate him with pats on his back. The fear grew when she noticed that the baby was starting to turn increasingly red and was not reacting. "I felt that time stopped", she expressed as she reconstructed that critical moment.
In the midst of the shock, Andrea's intervention, the person who works in her home, was key. After several attempts without a response, she decided to gently blow on his face, a maneuver that made the little one react. The subsequent crying was, for the mother, the most anticipated sound.

Even so, the scare did not end there. Overwhelmed by anguish, she went out into the street in search of help and she asked someone to perform CPR on the baby, convinced that he could be in danger. Minutes later, Andrea managed to calm her down by assuring her that Marco was already breathing normally.
Immediately, Sol contacted her partner, Guido Mazzoni, and she requested that a professional examine the baby. The pediatrician went to the home and, after he examined him, he confirmed that he was in good health. He also explained to her that choking episodes with milk can cause a strong impression, but that they usually do not lead to suffocation when one acts quickly.
