A video caused with artificial intelligence once again put Laura Ubfal in a difficult position, as she believed viral images showing Rosalía petting a capybara in "Nordelta" were authentic. The journalist reacted without realizing that the material was completely fake, which triggered a flood of comments on social media.
The mistake originated when Ubfal shared someone else's tweet presenting the singer visiting the "natural habitat" of capybaras. The post included a video where Rosalía appeared wearing a Boca jersey, drinking mate, and cuddling a capybara, all caused by AI.

How Laura Ubfal fell for Rosalía's fake video
The original tweet, filled with humor, suggested that Rosalía was "in favor of the capybara people's right to self-determination." Ubfal, convinced that the scene was real, listed an unusual sequence of activities that the singer supposedly carried out in just two days.
"In two days, Rosalía went to Boca's stadium, learned how to make empanadas, got to know capybaras up close..." she wrote, surprised.
