Gamescom, the largest video game fair in Europe, returns with an edition full of new features.
This year highlights the return of Nintendo, more than 50 playable titles, and multiple live events to follow from home.

When and where is Gamescom 2025 taking place?
The event will take place from August 20 to 24 in Cologne, Germany. It will bring together the leading developers and publishers in the gaming world.
The pre-show begins on Tuesday, August 19 at 3:00 PM (Argentina time) with the traditional Opening Night Live, hosted by Geoff Keighley.

- Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
- Resident Evil Requiem
- Hollow Knight: Silksong
- Silent Hill f
- World of Warcraft: Midnight

Additionally, surprises are expected from Microsoft, SEGA, Capcom, Konami, Bandai Namco, and more.
Which companies are participating?
Xbox will have a strong presence with playable demos, new trailers, and two special live broadcasts on August 20 and 21 at 10:00 AM (Argentina time).

Ubisoft, 2K Games, Electronic Arts, HoYoverse, Focus Entertainment, and many more will also be present.
Nintendo's return
After years of absence, Nintendo returns to the fair. Although it hasn't confirmed its line-up, it is expected to showcase new features for the Switch 2 and titles such as Donkey Kong Bananza.
What's new from Xbox
There will be demos of games like Ninja Gaiden 4, Hollow Knight: Silksong, and The Outer Worlds 2. The new portable device ROG Xbox Ally will also be presented.

More than 50 games at the Future Game Show
The Future Game Show will take place on Wednesday, August 20 at 3:00 PM (ARG) and will showcase more than 50 games through trailers, announcements, and gameplay. It will be hosted by David Hayter and Maggie Robertson.

All events can be watched live on YouTube and Twitch. Most broadcasts are in English, although some publishers also offer translation.
