Facundo Arana confirmed his separation from María Susini and made a firm request to the media to protect his family's privacy. The actor spoke for the first time after the breakup, after 19 years of a relationship and three children together.

In a conversation with LAM, the artist expressed his gratitude for the treatment and made it clear that he doesn't intend to go into detail about the reasons for the decision. His message was aimed mainly at protecting his children and keeping the matter behind closed doors.

"First of all, I want to thank you very much for how you handled this issue, which is so intimate and so ours", Facundo Arana expressed. He highlighted the respect and affection with which the news was covered in the media.

He was then blunt: "It's a super intimate issue, so we're trying to keep it behind closed doors at home". With those words, the actor drew a clear line regarding his private life.

Even so, he once again thanked everyone for the support: "The demonstrations of love were infinite and we are very grateful for that". The message was full of calm and reflection.

The priority: his children and the family

In his closing remarks, Arana focused on what is most important to him. "Our kids are healthy, María is healthy, and the kids have an exceptionally extraordinary mother", he stated.

"We will see everything else with time", he added.

Before leaving, he made a direct request to the press: "If I can ask you for a very special favor, it's that you don't ask me anything else. I thought about this a lot".

A love story that spanned almost two decades

Facundo Arana and María Susini built one of the strongest love stories in Argentine show business. They met in 2007, shortly after the actor ended a ten-year relationship with Isabel Macedo.

According to what Arana himself has said in various interviews, the spark was immediate, although the first meeting did not go as they expected. Only on a second occasion did they manage to see each other, and that day changed everything.

The anecdote of the first approach became almost legendary: she had suffered a fall and had injured her hand. He, who was used to the outdoor life, helped her treat it and was struck by her strength and sensitivity.

"When I looked at her and saw that she was smiling with a tear, I knew she was the one", he recalled years later. From that moment on, they formed a family with three children: India and the twins Yaco and Moro.
