Several fire crews are battling the flames under weather conditions that are not helping due to the heat and wind

For the fourth consecutive day, the rural fire in Quebrada del Condorito, in the mountains of Córdoba, remains active this Tuesday.
The weather is not helping either, as the heat, low humidity, and wind make the firefighters' work more difficult as they fight the flames supported by water-bombing planes and helicopters.
According to reports, a hundred firefighters are working in the southern sector, where hot spots still persist.

Authorities urge caution when driving in Altas Cumbres due to smoke
The Córdoba Police issued a warning about smoke on the Altas Cumbres road and asked drivers to proceed with caution.
The operation to contain the flames, in an area of grasslands and difficult access, includes six water-bombing planes (four belonging to the Province and two to the Federal System) and three helicopters (two from the Federal System and one provincial).
The Provincial Fire Management Plan reported that a challenging day is expected due to extreme weather conditions, with a wind alert in effect.
Meanwhile, the provincial judiciary is investigating whether the start of the incident, related to the burning of twenty cars on the Camino de las Altas Cumbre, was intentional or accidental.
