What a fixed-term deposit is and what it is for
The traditional fixed-term deposit is a financial instrument that allows you to deposit money for a set period of time in exchange for a fixed rate. It is designed for conservative profiles.
Although it may fall short of inflation in some contexts, it remains a key tool to protect capital in the short term with a low level of risk.
