Journalist Flavio Azzaro made waves on social media again after Racing's 1-0 victory over Belgrano in Córdoba in the second round of the local tournament. This time, his criticism was directed at a specific individual: Maximiliano Salas, a forward who recently left La Academia to continue his career at River.
"Suck it, Salas," Azzaro began bluntly, in his classic vehement tone. "With the Colombian who started the match in your position, at least he scored the goal that gave Racing the win in Córdoba. There's no better way to start this reaction than by saying suck it, Salas," he said, referring to the goal scored by Roger Martínez, which made the difference on the scoreboard.
Beyond his initial outburst, the journalist also praised the team's attitude: "Obviously, the most important thing is for Racing to win. The team may have lost the first round with a match ending that caused a lot of frustration, with Racing not having played well. The team had to go to Córdoba, had to step up and had to bring back the three points no matter what."
