Former Diddy's assistant stated that she concealed a rape out of fear of being watched

In the trial against the rapper in the U.S., 'Mia' described abuse, threats, and extreme control

During the trial that is shaking the entertainment industry, "Mia," former personal assistant to  Sean "Diddy" Combs, gave a devastating testimony. She stated that she didn't tell  Cassie about the alleged rape she suffered because she was afraid of being discovered by the mogul. According to her account before the court, Diddy controlled her communications and even installed tracking devices in Cassie's car (car).

Constant surveillance that paralyzed her

Diddy's defense attorney, Brian Steel, asked her directly why she never spoke with Cassie about the alleged sexual assault.  Mia replied that she was convinced Diddy would have found out. According to her testimony, he used to confiscate both of their phones, and she suspected that he regularly checked their contents.

She also revealed that the rapper installed tracking systems in Cassie's car, which further fueled her terror.  "I'm not sure what he's capable of. I was terrified," she confessed with a trembling voice before the jury.

A silence she thought she would take to her grave

For three days on the stand, Mia detailed the abuse she claims to have suffered while working for Diddy. She recounted that the producer forced her to perform oral sex on him on at least one occasion, and that during her time with him she experienced various episodes of violence.

Despite having mentioned certain violent outbursts by the businessman toward the end of her employment, Mia explained that she never considered publicly revealing the sexual assaults. Her initial intention, she said, was to keep the secret for the rest of her life.

However,  that changed when federal prosecutors and investigators contacted her. Although she couldn't specify the exact date, she confirmed that it was during a conversation in 2024 that she finally decided to speak out. The defense attorney stated that it was in June of that year.

A testimony that implicates other names

The impact of her words resonated beyond the courtroom. During her account,  Mia mentioned celebrities such as R. Kelly,  whom she referenced in a text message she sent to Diddy. The content of the message referred to a dream, but its inclusion in the trial drew attention due to the dark history of the singer convicted of sexual offenses.

Shaken in several parts of her testimony, Mia broke down in tears as she relived the episodes she had kept secret for years. Her statement, although late,  became a key piece in the progress of the federal case against Diddy.
