Russian authorities are investigating the death of Sergei Tropin, former Deputy Minister of Justice of Russia, whose body was found in an apartment located in western Moscow. According to emergency services cited by the state agency Tass, no signs of a violent death were found, although the exact causes of the death have not yet been determined.
According to preliminary information, Tropin's body was discovered in the bathroom of the residence, inside the bathtub. A source cited by Tass stated that, at this initial stage of the investigation, there are no signs of criminal involvement. "There are no indications of an unlawful act. The cause of death is being established", the source indicated.
After the discovery, the authorities immediately activated the corresponding protocols to clarify the circumstances of the death. Emergency teams and specialized personnel went to the scene to carry out the first inspections and collect evidence.
In parallel, formal procedures were initiated to determine whether the death was the result of a domestic accident, a natural cause, or another circumstance.

Among the hypotheses considered by investigators at this early stage is the possibility that Tropin died by drowning in the bathtub of his apartment.
Nevertheless, the authorities emphasized that this line of investigation is preliminary and is subject to verification by forensic experts. The results of the autopsies and medical analyses will be decisive in confirming or ruling out this version.
