After a one-week break, Franco Colapinto faces the Las Vegas Grand Prix with a mix of optimism and caution. After a demanding stint in Brazil, the Argentine highlighted that, despite the difficulties, the team showed clear signs of progress.
"The weekend in São Paulo was a challenge for my side of the garage, but it was positive to have a more competitive car with the possibility of scoring points, as Pierre did both in the Sprint and in the Grand Prix," he explained. For Colapinto, that performance opens up a valuable opportunity: "We have a lot to learn, and we hope to be able to apply it in the last three races, since it would be good to have a similar feeling in the car."
Nevertheless, he made it clear that not everything was a setback in Interlagos. The announcement of his continuity with Alpine for 2026 gave a special tone to the weekend. "It was unbelievable to be able to share with everyone that I'll continue with the team for the 2026 season; there was no better place to announce it than in South America, and I'm very grateful for the unbelievable welcome from the Brazilian fans," he said.
