Gabriel Bornoroni confirmed that there will be La Libertad Avanza lists in the 427 municipalities of Córdoba

The national deputy and head of the La Libertad Avanza bloc in the Chamber of Deputies, Gabriel Bornoroni, completed a tour of the Punilla department where he announced that his political force will present its own candidate lists in all 427 communes and municipalities of the province of Córdoba.

During his tour of five Mediterranean towns, the legislator explained that the party will also present its own candidate to compete for the provincial governorship in the 2027 elections. The territorial strategy aims to consolidate the party's presence in each of the Cordoban municipalities to respond to the demand for representation expressed by local voters.

In statements made to the FORUM program, the libertarian representative preferred not to name potential candidates, explicitly considering that defining individual candidacies a year before the elections would be disrespectful to the citizens.

Referring to the decisions regarding party organization in the interior, Bornoroni stated: "We will have candidates and we will compete in all the municipalities because it is natural and the people are asking for it." The institutional agenda carried out in the Punilla Valley included meetings with merchants, hoteliers, and residents to assess operational demands and basic infrastructure problems in the region.

During the activities in the mountain town, the legislator referred to the conversations held with the mayor of Villa Carlos Paz, Esteban Avilés, clarifying that they had only one institutional contact related to dealings with Banco Nación. Regarding the incorporation of local leaders from other groups, the representative set conditions for membership: "It will not happen that someone who is not in the alliance, who does not think the same, or who is a moderate, wants to participate from the outside. Participation is from within the alliance, with firm ideas and convictions."

Call for allied spaces and legislative reforms

The libertarian space's call includes sectors of the UCR, the PRO, the Civic Front, and neighborhood groups in the province of Córdoba that share President Javier Milei's economic freedom program.

The territorial assessment work will serve as direct input for the development of a comprehensive provincial government plan, amid speculation about possible joint formulas with Senator Luis Juez and former deputy Rodrigo de Loredo. Regarding the internal party dynamics, the national bloc leader expressed his hopes for a prompt organizational resolution to facilitate the construction of opposition agreements for the 2027 elections.

In terms of legislative initiatives, the national deputy formally expressed his support for the project presented to the Senate to eliminate the Primaries, Open, Simultaneous, and Mandatory Elections (PASO). From the libertarian legislator's perspective, this voting system represents an unnecessary economic burden on public finances, and its debate will allow verification of the governors' real positions regarding reforms. The proposal to suspend the national electoral scheme aims to optimize the use of public funds during election years.

Regarding national tax variables, Bornoroni noted that the central administration reduced the tax burden by 3 percentage points of GDP and ordered the reduction of withholdings applied to agricultural producers.

The work tour initiated in the various towns of Punilla marks the first stage of the organizational deployment that the political force will continue to develop in the remaining Cordoban departments. The party leadership will maintain institutional meetings with productive and social leaders to structure promotional committees in all districts of the province of Córdoba.
