The operation took place after a group illegally entered the CNEA to protest the decision not to renew temporary contracts for "ñoquis" incorporated by Kirchnerism

In a firm act of authority and compliance with the public order protocol, members of the National Gendarmerie thwarted an attempt at illegal occupation on Tuesday at the headquarters of the National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA), located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Núñez.

The incident, involving activists from the State Workers' Association (ATE) led by Rodolfo Aguiar, escalated when a group of people whose contracts were not renewed illegally entered the building, causing serious disturbances in an area declared as a strategic institution. In response to the initial overflow of protesters, the National Gendarmerie requested immediate reinforcements, which included the deployment of armored vehicles to secure the perimeter and evict the intruders.

The intervention was necessary to restore security in a facility where Argentine nuclear development is managed, a sector that the union aims to use as a hostage for its political interests.

Despite the narrative of "mass layoffs" spread by the left, the technical reality of the agency shows a necessary reorganization of the State. According to official data, there were no arbitrary layoffs, but rather 61 contracts not renewed. It is essential to highlight that:

The 100% of those terminated entered under the fixed-term contract modality during the year 2023, under the Kirchnerist management of Adriana Serquis, in a clear attempt to inflate the workforce before the change of government.

Of those 61 agents, 42 only had secondary or primary education and performed tasks as analysts or administrative assistants, disproving the union's claim of an attack on science.

"There were no layoffs of nuclear engineers or specialized technical staff", which guarantees that the technical operability of the CNEA remains intact under the current administration of Martín Porro.

From the Casa Rosada, presidential spokesperson Adrián Ravier confirmed that the structure of the agency was reduced by 57.83%, from 645 to 272 positions, eliminating the militant excess that was suffocating the national budget.

This measure is part of a cleanup plan where 3,983 people have already been registered for voluntary retirement plans and a rate of exits in the National Public Administration of 3,000 monthly departures.

Despite the threats from Rodolfo Aguiar, who warned that the authorities "will all end up in prison" invoking job stability, the Executive maintains its course of austerity.

The data presented by the opposition, represented by deputy Julia Strada, which denounces a real drop of 32.9% in the budget and an accumulated salary decrease of 32.1%, only confirms the success of the necessary adjustment to end inflation and the deficit. With the Gendarmerie guarding strategic assets, the government of Javier Milei sends a clear message: within the law, everything; outside the law, nothing.
