The Government of Javier Milei announced a new edition of Argentina Week, this time in Europe, based in Paris, following the great success of the event held in New York, which attracted millions in foreign investments.

The announcement was made by the Argentine ambassador in France, Ian Sielecki, who confirmed through his X account that the meeting will take place during the second half of 2026.

The initiative was also supported by the chancellor Pablo Quirno, who reaffirmed the project and specified that the most likely date will be after summer in the northern hemisphere.

As Sielecki explained, the event will feature “a stellar agenda, worthy of the attraction that the country generates today,” and linked that international interest to both the figure of President Javier Milei and the foreign policy promoted by his government.

In this context, he also highlighted that French investments in Argentina grew by 50.7% in the first 18 months of management, and stated that the edition in Paris aims to accelerate that process.

The Argentina Week in New York

The European initiative comes after the resounding precedent of the Argentina Week in New York, held from March 9 to 11, 2026. That meeting was organized by JPMorgan, Bank of America, the Argentine Embassy in the United States, and the Kaszek fund, and brought together more than 410 investors, 128 CEOs, and 11 governors.

The event in the American city marked a turning point in the country's international insertion strategy. During those days, investments totaling USD 16.150 billion were announced, a figure that the Government described as the result of the largest “investment roadshow” in Argentine history.

Among the most relevant projects that emerged in New York are the USD 4.500 billion committed by Pampa Energía for the development of Vaca Muerta, the USD 5.250 billion announced by First Quantum Minerals for the Taca Taca copper project, and the USD 3.400 billion that Mercado Libre will allocate to the expansion of its logistics operations in 2026.

The impact of the New York Argentina Week was measured not only in investment amounts but also in the magnitude of the turnout and the interest generated among key players in the global financial system.

The participation of international funds, high-level executives, and political representatives consolidated a signal of confidence towards the new economic direction of the country.

In this context, the planned edition in Paris aims to replicate that model of international promotion, but with a focus on the European market. The goal is to expand the geographical base of investors and capitalize on the renewed institutional link with the European Union, positioning Argentina as a priority destination for capital from the continent.
