Shock over the death of Mila Yankelevich: celebrities express their deep grief
The death of Tomás Yankelevich's daughter caused a chain of messages that brought the entertainment industry together in mourning
This Tuesday, a tragedy struck at the very heart of the artistic community.Mila Yankelevich, only seven years old, died in a boating accident that occurred in Miami Beach, when a barge collided with the sailboat she was sailing on with other children.
The young girl was the daughter of Tomás Yankelevich, brother of the late actress Romina Yan, and granddaughter of renowned producers Cris Morena and Gustavo Yankelevich. Her death triggered a wave of messages of grief in the Argentine entertainment industry.
The impact of the accident and the official confirmation
The accident occurred at around 11:30 a.m. on Monday the 28th, local time, off the coast of Miami Beach. There were five minors on board, between 7 and 13 years old, along with an adult woman who served as the camp counselor.

The Miami Yacht Club, from where the expedition departed, confirmed that the crew members were part of the Youth Sailing Foundation. In a statement, the organization expressed its dismay: "Our priority is the safety and well-being of everyone involved. We're working with the authorities to fully understand the situation."
Two Argentine girls, including Mila, died in the incident. Two other minors remain hospitalized in serious condition.

Messages of grief on social media: a community in mourning
The news quickly went viral and caused an immediate reaction on social media. Marcelo Tinelli wrote, moved: "I'm devastated. I can't believe it. My immense love to the whole family." He also added: "My warm embrace and all my love to Cris, Gustavo, Tomás, and Sofía."
Santiago del Moro expressed: "There are no words that suffice in the face of such a tragedy. My deepest condolences to her family." Meanwhile, Luciana Salazar posted: "News that destroys your soul. This life that never makes sense. How unfair."
Nico Vázquez chose graphic silence: a broken heart emoji accompanied by the name Mila. Araceli Gonzalez echoed her message posted on X: "I'm in shock. So much pain, please. I embrace the Yankelevich family. Without understanding, this paralyzes the soul, leaving it breathless."

Wanda Nara also showed her support: "There are no words. Cris, I embrace you very tightly. Rest in peace, Mila." Teresa Calandra expressed: "My God, what a tragedy."
Benjamín Vicuña, who in 2012 lost his daughter Blanca, the eldest daughter from his relationship with Carolina "Pampita" Ardohain, also shared a heartfelt message. "On a cold morning when the pain of one family is the pain of a people, of a community stunned by tragedy, we ask questions that will never have answers," wrote the Chilean actor, reflecting a grief he personally experienced.
The artistic community, so closely linked to the work and sensitivity of Cris Morena, felt this loss as their own. It was not only a family life cut short, but also a child who grew up under the influence of two generations of creators who shaped childhoods.
A new blow for a family marked by art and loss
Mila had turned 7 years old in February. She was the youngest in the Yankelevich family. Her death revived the memory of her aunt, Romina Yan, who died unexpectedly in 2010, at 36 years old.
This tragedy once again enveloped the family in immeasurable grief. The sensitivity of the artistic community reflected, once again, that television is not just an industry: it's also a network of affections, shared stories, and public mourning.
