After seven years of development, Hollow Knight: Silksong now has a release date: September 4, 2025. The highly anticipated sequel to the successful Hollow Knight will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with direct access from day one through Xbox Game Pass.
A wait that lasted more than seven years
The announcement marks the end of one of the longest and most talked-about waits in the indie industry. Since 2017, Team Cherry's followers have been alert to every clue and rumor, fueling expectations on social media.
