In an uncommon event in the Gaza Strip, controlled by the terrorist group Hamas, thousands of Palestinian citizens marched in the northern city of Beit Lahiya with white flags, demanding the end of Hamas's dictatorship and calling for the release of Israeli hostages.
The protest took place in front of the Indonesian Hospital, in the north of the strip, where a protester, while recording the events, questioned the lack of coverage by the Qatari network Al-Jazeera and its correspondent in Gaza, Anas Sharif. This comment referred to the lack of criticism by the channel of Hamas's policies.
"The people demand that the press cover these events!" exclaimed a Palestinian protester. "The people demand freedom, the cessation of hostilities against Gaza, peace, and the end of this war," added another.
Amid the protest, chants like "Out, out, out! Hamas, out!", "Where is the press?", and "We want to live!" were heard, while the protesters' signs carried messages like "We refuse to be the ones who die" and "Stop the war!".

In another video, hundreds of people could be seen marching through the streets of Beit Lahya. The person recording commented: "Large crowds are protesting against Hamas's government. The situation in Gaza is catastrophic. The people here are asking for the release of the prisoners to be able to continue living", likely referring to the Israeli hostages still in captivity.
This demonstration reflects the grave situation within Gaza, where some Palestinian citizens oppose Hamas's dictatorship and the consequences of the conflict with Israel in the region.
