The majority of her fortune did not come directly from Monaco, but from her maternal line. Tatiana Santo Domingo belonged to a powerful South American clan, whose wealth and influence crossed borders.
The patriarch of this family, Julio Mario Santo Domingo, built an empire diversified in sectors such as beer, aviation, television, and telecommunications. His legacy included more than 200 companies and, before passing away fourteen years ago, he held the 108th position on the Forbes list of the world's richest people.
A present marked by discretion
Following the example of her siblings and cousins, India Casiraghi leads a life away from media flashes. The young girl's public appearances are limited to a few events throughout the year, thus respecting the family's decision to protect the privacy of the younger ones.
Her first exposure to the cameras occurred when she was just 18 months old, during Monaco's National Day. Back then, she was seen in the arms of her grandfather, Prince Albert, in an image that went around the world.
Additionally, her presence became common at events like the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix, where she accompanied the family in official celebrations.
