Messi's Inter Miami couldn't overcome PSG and was eliminated from the Club World Cup.

With a resounding 4-0, the team led by Luis Enrique demonstrated their complete superiority over a very limited American side

Inter Miami, led by Lionel Messi, suffered a 4-0 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain. The American team could do little against the offensive power of the Champions League winner, who dominated the match from start to finish and secured its place in the quarterfinals of the  Club World Cup.

From the start, the Parisians demonstrated their superiority and controlled the match with clear dominance. The team led by Luis Enrique set the pace from the outset and quickly created danger. In the 4th minute, Vitinha sent in a precise cross that Neves converted into a goal with a header, putting PSG ahead.

1-0

Inter Miami, with a 4-4-2 formation set by Mascherano, suffered under the opponent's high pressing and the intensity of the French game. In addition, Allen was lost to injury in the 19th minute, replaced by Aviles. Despite this, Messi had a spark in the 27th minute with a pass that led to a cross caught by Donnarumma, but the American team could generate little else.

PSG extended its lead thanks to its width and effectiveness. Neves scored the 2-0 in the 39th minute, after collecting the rebound from a recovery by Fabián Ruiz, passing it to Barcola and  finishing with ease.

Five minutes later, a cross from Doué on the right was deflected by Aviles into his own net, making it 3-0.

3-0

The Parisian dominance was consolidated in first-half stoppage time. After a combination between Vitinha, Barcola, and Hakimi, the Moroccan hit the crossbar and, on the second attempt,  scored the definitive 4-0 with a low shot.

4-0

In the second half, there were not many notable moments, except for some attacking attempts by Las Garzas led by the Rosario star, but they couldn't succeed. With the match already decided in the first half, the Champions League winner eliminated Inter Miami, showing why it is a strong favorite to win this first edition of the Club World Cup.

Now the Parisians will play the quarterfinals against the winner of the match between  Flamengo and Bayern Munich, whose match will be played from 5 p.m. at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
