In direct response to the successful Israeli offensive that eliminated Iran's military leadership, the terrorist regime in Tehran launched an intense barrage of ballistic missiles against the civilian population of Israel, striking targets in the vicinity of Tel Aviv and triggering air raid sirens in multiple cities.

According to official reports from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), over 100 missiles were fired from Iranian territory toward central and northern Israel. The air defense system "Iron Dome" managed to intercept a large number of projectiles, although some succeeded in hitting urban and suburban areas of Tel Aviv, causing material damage.

At this time, over a dozen people have been reported injured, all civilians, most due to shrapnel and debris from the impact of the Iranian missiles.

The Israeli population was warned by sirens shortly after 2:00 AM local time. Authorities activated air raid shelters and ordered the suspension of all public activities throughout the day. Images released by international media and social networks show missiles being intercepted in the air and explosions visible from various points in the city.

Meanwhile, during the attack, Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stated in an official declaration that Israel was the one who "started the conflict" and threatened that it would not be allowed to carry out lightning attacks without facing severe consequences.

"The Zionist regime will not escape the consequences of its crime. The Iranian nation must be assured that our response will be effective," declared the terrorist leader.
