Urbana Play's studio became the setting this Tuesday for one of the most sincere and moving confessions in recent times.
J Rei chose that space to break the silence and speak, without filters, about the most painful moment he experienced with María Becerra, after the artist suffered an ectopic pregnancy with internal bleeding, a condition that could have had irreversible consequences.
The news, revealed by the singer herself months ago, had made an impact among her fans, but until now the couple had kept the most intimate details of that experience private.

This time, in the first person, J Rei reconstructed the moment when he felt that everything could fall apart.
"She had a hard time, obviously, because her life was at risk," he began, with a honesty that chilled the air in the studio.
The scene he described was as brief as it was devastating: María hospitalized, without strength, and him unable to do anything but be there for her.
"You want to put your body on the line for her and you can't. Seeing the person you love most in a hospital bed unable to respond to you... that's when your world stops," he recalled.
From that moment on, everything became elemental. There were no tours, commitments, or schedules that mattered. Only being there. Only loving.
"All I have to give is love, and for the person you love, you do even what you can't", he confessed. "I gave my heart everything I had: my soul, my time, my energy, my affection. Everything I could," he continued.
However, he was categorical when speaking about María: "The strength was hers, specifically". For him, the singer went through that battle with a fortitude that still moves him. He was the support, but the fight—and the victory—were hers.
Music, as often happens in extreme moments, became a refuge. J Rei explained that much of his emotional process was recorded in songs that were born between tears and cathartic sessions in the studio.
His most recent song—which he defines as "a poem more than a song"—is entirely dedicated to María. There, he transformed the shared pain into verses "of two who found each other and asked never to be apart again".
