Amid the shock over the murder of Kim Gómez, a 7-year-old girl who was run over by two underage criminals during a robbery in La Plata, the ultra-Kirchnerist Minister of Security of Buenos Aires, Javier Alonso, did not take responsibility for the situation and blamed the Justice system for the tragic outcome.
The official from Axel Kicillof's government described Kim's crime as "a terrible tragedy" and, in a conversation with Radio con Vos, criticized the actions of the Juvenile Prosecutor No. 1 of La Plata, Sabrina Cladera, for having released T.G., 17 years old, one of the accused of the crime, who had been previously detained on February 1 for a similar robbery.
What is striking is that Prosecutor Cladera had been supported and proposed by the same Governor Kicillof to be on the list of candidate officials for the La Plata Court of Appeals, which highlights the hypocrisy of the Kirchnerist officials.

"When these things happen, there are a lot of actors. It's not something we can solve only from the Ministry of Security and the police," he expressed this Thursday, emphasizing the responsibility of the Justice system.
He added: "The prosecutor's decision failed. In the matter of minors, in this case, it is punishable, and the Juvenile Prosecutor doesn't only look after the legal issue but also the integral issue of the minor. If that minor has a problem, and the father asks for help, intervention must be through a prosecutor," he noted on the radio program.
The Kirchnerist minister emphasized that the Buenos Aires Police perform "serious work" and assured that, according to him, there are no free zones. "In real-time, we know where each patrol car is. We have to cover 665,000 street crossings," he specified, despite entire localities being handed over to crime, and the police are conspicuously absent.

As if that weren't enough, Alonso also defended Kicillof's administration: "The homicide rate dropped from 2600, 20 years ago, to 811, in 2024, he is the governor with the fewest intentional homicides," he stated.
Finally, he targeted the Government of Javier Milei claiming they are "responsible" for "generating chaos" and "a situation of desolation." "We are the urban conglomerate of America with the best crime rates. We have to leave hypocrisy aside," concluded the disastrous Kirchnerist minister.
