After his return from the United States, President Javier Milei participated in the opening of the Latin America International Tourism Fair (FIT), which is being held at the La Rural venue in Buenos Aires from September 27 to 30, with the presence of tourism representatives from various countries.
During his speech, the president once again supported his economic plan, emphasized the need to move forward with fiscal and labor reform, and called to "not give up," assuring that "we are getting closer and closer to pulling the country out of the depths of the abyss."
"It is necessary to rid ourselves of the scourge of the litigation industry, which drives businesses into bankruptcy to benefit a few cunning individuals. We also need a fiscal reform to lower taxes, making more and more ventures profitable," Milei stated during his speech, which lasted about ten minutes.
Then, the president stated: "Our government is very clear about all of the above. That's why we carried out the economic reorganization we did and that's why we want to promote the necessary reforms so that Argentina becomes a competitive country and prosperity can flourish freely."

"That's also why we are clear that the solution is not to return to the catastrophic path of recurring devaluations. Nor is it to artificially inflate demand by issuing pesos indiscriminately or imposing regulations that force people to vacation within the country," he clarified.
The president was accompanied on his visit to La Rural by the Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei; the Chief of Cabinet, Guillermo Francos; the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich; and the Secretary of Tourism, Daniel Scioli.
The campaign
Now, ahead of the legislative elections on October 26, when part of Congress will be renewed, La Libertad Avanza seeks to strengthen its presence in the territory, with special attention to the key provinces for parliamentary renewal. The first destination chosen by Javier Milei in this new stage will be Tierra del Fuego.
The president himself announced via the social network X that next Monday he will travel to Ushuaia to participate in an event at the municipal sports center, accompanied by the local candidates: Agustín Coto, candidate for the Senate, and Miguel Rodríguez, who is running for a seat in the Chamber of Deputies.
It should be noted that Tierra del Fuego is one of the nine jurisdictions where both seats in the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate will be renewed in these elections.
