The alliance between La Libertad Avanza (LLA) and PRO leads decisively in the voting intention in the province of Buenos Aires ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial elections, with a lead of more than 16 points over Peronism, according to a survey by DC Consultores, led by Aníbal Uríos.
The survey also reveals a marked demand for change among the people of Buenos Aires and very negative results for the management of the communist Axel Kicillof, who faces criticism in areas such as education and security.
The poll, titled “PBA: The Movie”, was conducted between October 24 and 29 with a total of 1,570 people eligible to vote across the provincial territory.
The survey.
When asked whom they would choose if the elections were this Sunday, the coalition formed by La Libertad Avanza and PRO received 39.4% of the preferences, compared to the 22.9% that Peronism led by Kicillof has.
The difference places the libertarian ruling party in first place in the measurement, while the rest of the parties appear significantly further behind. The undecided represent 11.5%, other parties gather 9.6%, and the Kirchnerism, led by Máximo Kirchner, reaches 6.8%. The left obtains 5.7%, the UCR2.9%, and the local parties just 1.2%.
The people of Buenos Aires demand change
Another relevant fact is the demand for political renewal in the province. 68.1% of respondents indicated they would vote for a change of course in the upcoming elections, while 31.9% leaned towards some continuity option of the provincial ruling party: 20.4% would choose a candidate from the Movement for the Right to the Future (MDF) and 11.5% a Peronist or Kirchnerist one.
The diagnosis of the provincial situation was also reflected in the responses about daily reality. When asked which movie best represents Buenos Aires, 53.9% chose “Mad Max”, defined as a place without rules where everyone manages as best they can. Meanwhile, 16.5% opted for “Back to the Future”, 15.3% for “Rocky”, and 14.3% for “The Shining”.

The evaluation of the provincial government also showed unfavorable results for Kicillof. When asked who would be the main monster in a horror movie about Buenos Aires, 44.2% pointed to the provincial government, while 30.7% blamed the usual politicians. 15.4% held the national government responsible and 2.1% the mayors.
One of the most unfavorable indicators for the governor appeared in education. When asked how they rated his management in that area, on a scale from 1 to 10, participants gave an average of only 2.3 points.
Additionally, 66.3% expressed support for eliminating national and provincial PASO, while 76.9% backed maintaining the ban on indefinite re-elections for mayors.
The DC Consultores survey presents an electoral scenario in which La Libertad Avanza and PRO concentrate the highest measured voting intention, while the demand for change gains strength heading into 2027.
