A decade later, the controversial screenshots resurfaced, reigniting both of their fury
In 2014, the confrontation between Marianela Mirra and Jorge Rial was one of the most memorable media scandals in Argentine television. Although their relationship started on a good note after the young woman was crowned the winner of Gran Hermano 2007, an edition that reached historic rating peaks, the situation changed drastically years after the event.
After being invited several times to the show Intrusos (América TV), Marianela dreamed of becoming part of the television cycle's panel. However, the relationship with Rial took an unexpected turn when, in a fit of frustration, Mirra leaked private chats with the host, who at that time was in a relationship with Loly Antoniale.
The intimate conversations between them quickly went viral, unleashing a media whirlwind that captured the country's attention across various outlets.
One of the most revealing fragments of these chats was when Jorge Rial asked Marianela before going to sleep: "How are you in bed? Do you wear pajamas or something sexy?" Mirra's response, "I don't like clothes, they bother me", further fueled the scandal. In another message, the host confessed that he liked looking at her profile picture, which caused a definitive break in their professional and personal relationship.
The situation became complicated when Jorge, visibly upset, called Marianela a "Tucuman fox" on several occasions, publicly disqualifying her. "I'm not going to let this Tucuman fox and her henchmen walk all over me. I'm fed up with a lot of things", he shot back, intensifying the tension between them and making it clear that there hadn't been a good relationship between them for some time.
A decade later, Marianela's romance with José Alperovich, former governor of Tucumán and currently detained, resurfaced the controversial screenshots, once again unleashing the fury of their followers.
Amid this context, Marianela surprised her followers by revealing her relationship with Alperovich on Instagram and accused Rial of trying to extort her. "I never needed Rial, I just told you no and you became more obsessed", Mirra stated, referring to an alleged request for money that was made to her to prevent her relationship from being talked about.
