The President of Peru, Keiko Fujimori, announced an investment of USD 1.000 million from Coca-Cola and its bottling partner Arca Continental to expand their operations in the country over the coming years. The announcement was presented as one of the most important private investments of the year and is part of the Government's strategy to attract capital, strengthen productive activity, and generate new job opportunities.

As the president explained, the resources will be allocated to the construction and modernization of industrial plants, the expansion of distribution centers, the incorporation of new technologies, and the strengthening of the logistics chain in various regions of the country. The project also includes investments in energy efficiency, innovation, and programs related to sustainable development.

According to official estimates, the investment will have a direct and indirect impact on the creation of thousands of jobs in sectors such as construction, industry, transportation, logistics, commerce, and services. In addition to the jobs linked to the new projects, the Government expects the multiplier effect to boost the development of small and medium-sized enterprises that are part of the supply chain.

Representatives from Coca-Cola and Arca Continental stated that Peru offers favorable conditions to continue expanding their operations due to macroeconomic stability, market growth potential, and the Government's commitment to promoting investments. The companies indicated that part of the resources will also be allocated to innovation programs, recycling, efficient water management, and worker training.

The announcement adds to other initiatives promoted by Keiko Fujimori's administration since the beginning of her term, aimed at promoting investments in infrastructure, transportation, mining, energy, and security. The Government maintains that the recovery of economic growth will largely depend on the ability to attract new private projects that drive production and job creation.

With this announcement, the Government seeks to send a signal of confidence to the markets and reaffirm its commitment to a model focused on economic growth through private investment. Authorities are confident that the new projects will begin to be executed in the coming months and become a driver for economic development, job creation, and the improvement of living conditions in various regions of Peru.
