The renowned chain Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) could open its first street-facing location in Córdoba. The chosen location would be a large house in Nueva Córdoba next to Plaza España. The opening is projected before the end of the year, in a property that has been unused for two decades.
The transaction would have been managed by Petrini Inmobiliaria. The search would have focused on areas with high visual impact and heavy pedestrian traffic in the city. After evaluating different alternatives, the company would have chosen the space where the Goethe Institute operated.
The location would have 250 m² (2,691 square feet) and could generate around 40 formal jobs. Construction would already be underway, with a complete renovation of the property. The exact opening date would not be confirmed yet.

Plaza España, possible new gastronomic hub
From Petrini Inmobiliaria it would have been highlighted that Plaza España meets key conditions for KFC's arrival. The area concentrates well-known brands and would register a high pedestrian flow. In addition, it would be growing as a gastronomic destination.
Chains such as McDonald’s and Mostaza would already be operating in the area. KFC's arrival would strengthen competitiveness and diversify the offering. The location would seek to maximize the brand's visibility and its local positioning.
