St. James's Palace in London was the venue chosen by King Charles III to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the King’s Foundation, an organization founded in 1990 when he was still Prince of Wales.
The evening brought together about 200 people, including award recipients, renowned figures, and supporters of the cause. Among the most prominent names were David Beckham, Kate Winslet, Meryl Streep, Penny Lancaster, and Stanley Tucci, who shared a relaxed atmosphere with the monarch.
A night of stars and noble causes
During the event, the king not only celebrated the foundation's growth but also presented several awards recognizing innovation, young entrepreneurship, international impact, and emerging talent.

Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus was honored with the Harmony Award, a recognition of his sustained commitment to a more balanced and just world. His presence brought an inspiring tone to a night marked by the diversity of backgrounds and achievements.
Meryl Streep was one of the most enthusiastic guests. She was seen conversing and laughing with Kate Winslet and David Beckham in a meeting full of warmth. She was also among the first to greet the king, creating a relaxed and much-discussed moment.
Meanwhile, Kate Winslet once again demonstrated her connection to royalty. She attended in a white oversized tailored suit and recalled her appointment to the Order of the British Empire in 2012, presented by Queen Elizabeth II.
Beckham, between honors and commitments
David Beckham, ambassador of the King’s Foundation since 2024, was another of the day's protagonists. In the past month, he and his wife Victoria participated in the Chelsea Flower Show, where they met with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
This approach aimed to attract young people to the world of horticulture and raise awareness of the foundation's work. The good rapport between the former footballer and the monarch was once again evident during this gala.
